Live Art Club started its life in the basement of VFD, a key queer venue that makes up part of East London's distinctive nightlife. It has played host to legendary club nights like Femmetopia and Transmissions.

Our archiving impulse had not kicked in yet so have only a few scraps of documentation from these first few events.

What we gather and recover will be uploaded here soon.

In 2020 Live Art Club made a come back to Cafe OTO, a home for creative new music that exists outside of the mainstream in Dalston.

We only got the opportunity to have one Sunday session together before the nationwide lockdown was instated and our programming moved online.
Below is the open call which gives insight into our concerns and approach at the time.

The latest iteration of Live Art Club takes place at VSSL, Deptford on the 1st of the month.
